Proji Company is a constituent unit of the "National Engineering Research Center for Protein Technology" of Tsinghua University. It is the first national engineering laboratory established by the National Development and Reform Commission at Tsinghua University. Former President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhou Guangzhao, and the "Father of DNA", Nobel laureate James D. Watson served as honorary directors of the laboratory, with Professor Luo Yongzhang serving as the director. -

9 On the afternoon of 23rd of the month, Wang Ke, a member of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial Committee and head of the Organization Department, accompanied by Yu Tao, a member of the Standing Committee of the Yantai Municipal Committee and head of the Organization Department, and Mou Shuqing, the Party secretary and director of the Management Committee of the Development Zone, visited and investigated the Yantai Protgen Biotechnology Pharmaceutical Park.Professor Luo Yongzhang, director of the "National Engineering Laboratory for Anti-tumor Protein Drugs" (hereinafter referred to as the National Engineering Laboratory), and Chang Guodong, chairman of Yantai Protgen Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd., participated in the investigation.
Minister Wang Ke visited the Yantai Protgen Biopharmaceutical Park exhibition hall and GMP production workshop. He listened to Professor Luo Yongzhang's report on the transformation of the park's biopharmaceutical achievements and also learned in detail about the company's safety production management and security maintenance from the enterprise leaders. Minister Wang Ke's delegation gave high praise to Protgen's innovative scientific research achievements and put forward higher requirements for Protgen's safety production and security maintenance work.
Protgen is an important component of the National Engineering Laboratory. This National Engineering Laboratory was jointly established by Tsinghua University and Protgen Company, and it is the first National Engineering Laboratory established by the National Development and Reform Commission at Tsinghua University.
