Tang Bo, Party Secretary and Director of the Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, led a team to investigate the Protgen Biomedicine Park.

On the morning of August 2nd, Tang Bo, Party Secretary and Director of the Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and He Wei, Director of the Department's Office, along with Chen Fei, Deputy Secretary of the Yantai Municipal Party Committee and Mayor; Gao Junbo, Secretary-General of the Yantai Municipal Government; and others visited the Yantai Projgi Biopharmaceutical Park. They were accompanied by Liu Jianmin, Deputy Secretary of the Yantai Development Zone Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee, among others. Professor Luo Yongzhang, director of the National Engineering Laboratory for Anti-tumor Protein Drugs (hereinafter referred to as the National Engineering Laboratory) at Tsinghua University, and relevant personnel from the Yantai Projgi Biopharmaceutical Park also participated in the investigation.

Director Tang Bo visited the production workshop and exhibition hall of the Yantai Projgi Biopharmaceutical Park. He listened to Professor Luo Yongzhang's report on the transformation of biological medicine achievements. He learned in detail about Protgen's technological innovation, product development, and business operations, and expressed high expectations for the company's future development. Director Tang Bo urged the company to actively engage in technological innovation, pay attention to the construction of national technology innovation centers, actively participate in relevant application work, and utilize policy advantages to accelerate enterprise development.

Protgen is an important component unit of the National Engineering Laboratory. This National Engineering Laboratory was jointly established by Tsinghua University and Protgen and is the first national engineering laboratory established by the National Development and Reform Commission at Tsinghua University.

Wang Ke, a member of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial Committee and head of the Organization Department, conducted an inspection and investigation at the Protgen Biopharmaceutical Park.

Zhang Shuping, Secretary of the Yantai Municipal Party Committee, and his entourage conducted a field investigation at the Protgen Biomedicine Park.
