Proji Company is a constituent unit of the "National Engineering Research Center for Protein Technology" of Tsinghua University. It is the first national engineering laboratory established by the National Development and Reform Commission at Tsinghua University. Former President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhou Guangzhao, and the "Father of DNA", Nobel laureate James D. Watson served as honorary directors of the laboratory, with Professor Luo Yongzhang serving as the director. -

Shenzhen Protgen Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") was established in July 2016 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing Protgen Company.

In December 2018, the Company, in collaboration with Tsinghua University, Beijing Protgen Company, and Yantai Protgen Pharmaceutical Company, successfully secured funding from the National "13th Five-Year Plan" Major New Drug Creation Program for their joint project, "Research on Common Key Technologies for Large-Scale Preparation of Recombinant Albumin Drugs." The project's industrialization base, "Protgen Pharmaceutical Park," has been located in BaoLong Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen, and has been selected as a "Shenzhen Major Project" in 2019 and 2020.
The Company's recombinant human serum albumin project started relatively late, but thanks to its industry-leading common key technology platform, it quickly solved a series of core technical problems in the key production process. It has advanced rapidly and is now at the forefront of the competition. The project was initiated at the end of 2013 and entered the clinical trial phase in December 2020.
The injectable recombinant human serum albumin project represents the highest level of large-scale preparation technology for recombinant protein drugs today. The Company will achieve its goal of industrializing recombinant protein drugs through the construction of a high-starting-point, high-level production platform. The Company will use the power of science and technology to protect life, and return the fruits of innovation to society. It will create its own glorious chapter in the grand blueprint of a healthy China and contribute Chinese wisdom and solutions to achieving the global health dream.
